Kiersten abandoned the unknown Prince of Dulsar days before they were to fulfill their marriage contract in order to continue with her humanitarian efforts in delivering the vaccine to combat a virus decimating newly colonized planets. Dear Reader,

It appears that my trek through time continues with this third novel. Beginning in historical Ireland with Of Gifts and the Goddess, then traveling to present-day Mexico in Of Dolphins and Desires, I'm now venturing into the future with Of Stars and Secrets. I do allude to the stone circles that can be found in Ireland, and with the sequel to this story, Of Prophesies and Promises, there is an even stronger tie to a time in Eire when fairies and magic floated in the air.

I offer the question as to the existence of a creative Source that conjured the universe and perhaps offers aide to beings during their lives. There are a great many coincidences that occur within these pages that give rise to an intelligent force orchestrating circumstances and events, beginning with Kiersten and Aiden meeting at Happy Jack's. I invite you investigate, in the environment around you, the order that arises from chaos, and discern for yourself.

Since recorded time, humans have quested for power, oftentimes at the expense of entire societies. In the past five thousand years, there is not much that has occurred without the stain of war or oppression or exploitation. I have predicted here that current human emotions and desires will continue, regardless of any evolution that may take place in the next five centuries. Nor do I believe that humans are the only beings to experience, and be driven by, such intensity.

Is there life out there? Perhaps. Perhaps not. With the discoveries being made in regards to planets, stars, asteroids, galaxies, black holes, and other space phenomena, there is strong evidence that we cannot be all there is in the vastness of the universe. Predatory or benign, destructive or helpful, possessing greater technology than Earth, if they aren't already here, the time may soon arrive when we're faced with other sentient beings who might have asked themselves, "Are we all there is?"

Suspend time by stepping aboard your own starship to an adventure in another galaxy. Visit the Questions to Ponder at the end of this portion of the tale, and with an open mind, explore your universe!
